Parents and legal guardians who believe their child has submitted personal information may contact us to request review or deletion of that information, subject to applicable law.
10. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Features
GenStory Tours uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) and other automated technologies to enhance the Services, improve the user experience, and support the organization, accessibility, and delivery of historical and cultural content.
AI may be used to assist with functions such as:
- Organizing and indexing historical information and media.
- Summarizing research and reference materials.
- Enhancing search capabilities and content discovery.
- Improving accessibility through transcription, translation, captioning, or similar features.
- Recommending tours, destinations, historical sites, attractions, and other content based on user interests and activity.
- Analyzing aggregated or de-identified usage patterns to improve the Services.
- Identifying opportunities to improve Tour Content, platform features, and the overall user experience.
- Supporting customer service and other operational functions.
- Assisting with quality assurance, content organization, and editorial workflows.
AI is used to assist and enhance the Services rather than replace human creativity or editorial judgment. AI may help organize research, identify reference materials, suggest presentation improvements, analyze platform performance, recommend future tours, and enhance the user experience. However, the historical narratives, creative direction, editorial decisions, narration, and artistic presentation that distinguish GenStory Tours remain under human oversight.
Although we strive for accuracy, AI-assisted features may occasionally generate incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate information or recommendations. AI-generated suggestions are reviewed where appropriate but should not be considered authoritative historical, legal, financial, or professional advice.
Unless otherwise disclosed or permitted by applicable law, GenStory Tours does not use your personal information to train publicly available artificial intelligence models without your consent.
11. Historical Preservation and Community Contributions
GenStory Tours is dedicated to preserving, sharing, and celebrating the stories of people, places, cultures, and communities. Our mission extends beyond providing guided tours to creating lasting historical resources that educate, inspire, strengthen communities, and preserve cultural heritage for future generations.
To support that mission, GenStory Tours may collect, organize, preserve, and maintain historical information, research materials, photographs, audio recordings, videos, documents, maps, interviews, and other content that contributes to the accuracy, authenticity, and educational value of the Services. These materials may be retained as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
The development of Tour Content is a collaborative effort that may involve cities, museums, historical societies, destination marketing organizations, local businesses, historians, educators, researchers, archives, libraries, community organizations, descendants, and other knowledgeable contributors. These individuals and organizations may provide historical research, archival materials, photographs, documents, oral histories, corrections, or additional context that helps improve the quality and historical integrity of the Services.
Every GenStory Tour is intended to reflect thoughtful human research, editorial judgment, and artistic storytelling. Historical narratives are researched, written, reviewed, edited, and approved by people before publication. Human writers, editors, producers, narrators, historians, and other creative contributors remain responsible for the historical interpretation, narrative structure, and artistic presentation of each tour.
While AI may assist with organizing research, identifying supporting reference materials, suggesting presentation improvements, improving accessibility, or providing other editorial support functions, AI is not the primary historical source for Tour Content and does not independently determine the historical narrative, creative vision, or artistic direction of a tour. The defining characteristic of the GenStory Tours experience is the combination of authentic historical research and human storytelling, enhanced—but not replaced—by technology.
GenStory Tours welcomes responsible community participation. Users and contributors may submit suggestions, corrections, historical references, photographs, documents, or additional information for consideration. Submitted materials may be reviewed, edited, supplemented, verified, or declined before being incorporated into Tour Content or other Services. Submission of information does not guarantee publication or inclusion.
Because historical understanding evolves as new information becomes available, GenStory Tours may revise, expand, update, or replace Tour Content to improve historical accuracy, provide additional context, incorporate newly discovered research, correct errors, or enhance the educational and storytelling experience.
Nothing in this section alters the ownership or licensing provisions applicable to User Content as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy or in our Terms of Service.
12. International Users

The privacy and data protection laws of those jurisdictions may differ from the laws of your country and may not provide the same level of legal protection.
By accessing or using the Services or providing personal information to us, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in these jurisdictions as described in this Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Where applicable law requires additional safeguards for international transfers of personal information, GenStory Tours will implement commercially reasonable measures designed to protect personal information and comply with applicable legal requirements.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, technology, legal requirements, business practices, or other operational needs.
When we make changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
If we make material changes that require notice under applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice through the Services, by email, or by other reasonable means before the changes become effective or as otherwise required by law.
Your continued access to or use of the Services after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised Privacy Policy, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically so that you remain informed about how we collect, use, protect, and share your information.
